I THINK I KILLED ME
Self-described as “sad girl rock”, Amy Kisser’s single “I Think I Killed Me” is produced by Gavin Brown (Three Days Grace, Billy Talent, Metric). “I Think I Killed Me” explores themes of toxic relationships, loss of identity, & extreme self-blame. Amy realizes that trying to change for someone else destroyed her self-worth, leading to deep despair, people-pleasing, & feelings of self-hatred to the point where she feels she has metaphorically “killed” her true self.
Serving as the lead single from her upcoming debut EP, “I Think I Killed Me” introduces a deeply personal project that explores the emotional aftermath of a devastating relationship and the lasting damage toxic relationships can leave behind. By channeling the catharsis of rock through deeply vulnerable songwriting, Amy hopes the record helps listeners feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
